Talking to Adults

Joshua told me that he is happy to talk to adults, "but not all children are. Some are shy about talking to adults." He explained he had seen Christian's dad at football and he and Rose had said hello, "because it's good to talk to adults".

It reminded me that one of the classic signs of being a TCK is the ability to converse with adults. It was interesting that he even brought the concept up. It also made me realise that my kids really do make a choice not to talk back when accosted by strangers when we are out, because obviously they could.
