Grade 1 and 2 learn about the pilgrims and Native Americans (respectively), and then have their own Thanksgiving Feast. Rose was very excited about this and has constantly been on about the "feast" all week. She wanted to take this "rainbow turkey" she had made but we wouldn't let her!

I went along to help decorate the hall and tables where they were eating. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed the program too. The actual story of the original Thanksgiving feast is very interesting. (You can read it here if interested).
