Mouse again

As I came down the stairs this morning I spotted our mouse jumping into the sink in the laundry area.  No mean feat but I knew it could jump pretty well as Wendy and I watched it jump up the (open) stairs one at a time on her last day before Christmas.  We were so stunned we didn't do anything!  This time, I grabbed the broom with a wild idea (I had just got up!) that I was going to lamp it as it jumped out of the sink.  BUt it was way too fast, saw me coming and scarpered.  Josh was egging me on and was most disappointed I didn't chase it, but it had disappeared.
It was Literacy Day for Elementary so we got organised really fast to go up and look at the costumes.  I had thought I would have to persuade Josh but he was up for the idea as soon as I suggested it.  Steve was dressed as the BFG and Rose as Queen Susan.  Unfortunately my camera, which has been threatening to give up the ghost for a while, has really and truly died.  At least, the battery.  It is very frustrating with the last quarter of school coming up and no hope of a new battery until just before the end of the school year.  No-one sells the lithium ones here.
This afternoon Joshua was making "traps" to catch the mouse with old ice cream cartons and Naomi got caught up in the idea. I'm not sure any would work but I applaud the creativity : )

Okay, so that mouse is officially, super mouse. It can jump and climb. I think you have a hard task ahead of you to catch it.
