Noise

I know I shouldn't complain - our last house was in a far noisier situation: more traffic going past and the radio next door on all the time (right by our bedroom). BUT, just as we were going to bed last night - about 10 p.m. - a very noisy band decided to start playing. It was some kind of hard rock/punk sound with the lead singer grating everything out. So we played another game then I decided I was going to try and sleep anyway. Thanks goodness, it didn't go on too long!

However, at 5:30 this morning the Catholic church in our subdivision was obviously having some kind of procession round the streets. This involved loudspeakers blaring out words and a couple of lady singers.

Only in the Philippines?!
