Mother
Naomi has been calling me mother lately - a hangover from the games my kids play with mama and mother common terms for the parents amongst their animals and people! I cannot tell you how much it irritates me to be called mother - it sounds so old-fashioned or like I am a character in an Enid Blyton book!

HaHaHa! I always call mum mother and gran grandmother. Mind you, that's normally with a cheeky smile on my face. Just look at it as a sign of respect!
