Potato soup

Classic moment at dinner:
Rose: Ugh, what's that?
Debs: Potato soup
Rose: I hate that.  I don't want it.
Debs: How can you hate it?  You haven't had it before.
Rose: Yes, you've made it before.
I deny this but actually Rose was sort of right.  I have made a potato soup before but not this one.  I made up the recipe myself.
Rose takes a spoonful.
Rose: This is good.  I love it!!

I did wonder why I was making it this afternoon as I was melting in our kitchen at 34+ C.  But Rose was right - it was good!
